The Primary Years Programme

Six Transdisciplinary Themes

Where we are in place and time
How we express ourselves
How the world works
How we organise ourselves
Sharing the planet
The IB Learner Profile
All IB programmes develop 10 Learner Profile attributes: Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, and Reflective.
The PYP Exhibition
In Year 5/6, students undertake a collaborative inquiry project – the Exhibition – demonstrating their understanding of a transdisciplinary theme through research, action and reflection.
