Accessibility

MamyWorksheet aims to be usable by everyone, in Arabic and English. What we do, what we know does not work well yet, and how to tell us.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use MamyWorksheet, in Arabic and in English, on a phone or a computer, with a keyboard, a screen reader or a mouse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Every page can be used with the keyboard alone, and the place you are on is always clearly marked.

  • Pages have one main heading, a clear order of headings, named buttons and links, and text descriptions for pictures.

  • Text and buttons have strong contrast in both light and dark mode, and the site follows your device's settings for less motion and for high-contrast colours.

  • Pages work at phone width without scrolling sideways, and still work when you zoom in to 200%.

  • Arabic pages are written and laid out from right to left, and English words inside Arabic text keep their own direction.

  • Automatic accessibility checks run on our pages in both languages, in light and dark mode, on phone and computer widths, every time the site changes.

What does not work well yet

  • Some older interactive activities brought over from our previous site may be hard to use with a keyboard or a screen reader. We are improving them one by one.

  • Printable worksheets are PDF files made for printing; many are pictures of the page, which a screen reader cannot read.

  • We have not yet finished our own checks with screen readers on every kind of page.

Tell us

If something is hard to use, tell us which page and what happened, using Report a problem under an activity or the details on the Contact page. We will try to fix it, or send you the content in another way.
