Q: My child is struggling with IGCSE Mathematics. Where should we start?

A: Start with a diagnostic past paper to identify weak topics. Focus your revision on the 3–4 topics where marks are being lost. Algebra and number typically carry the most weight.

Q: How much daily study time is realistic for an IGCSE student?

A: 2–3 focused hours per day outside school is sufficient for most students in Year 10. Increase to 3–4 hours in Year 11, especially in the final 8 weeks before exams.

Q: Should my child study Arabic or wait until they're older?

A: The earlier, the better. Children under 10 acquire language most naturally. Formal Arabic study from age 7–8 builds a strong foundation for both communication and Quran understanding.

Q: How do I choose between IGCSE and O-Levels?

A: Cambridge O-Level and IGCSE are very similar – both offered by Cambridge Assessment. IGCSE has more extended syllabi options and is more globally recognised. For most international students, IGCSE is the preferred choice.
